Rolf Structural Integration was developed by Dr.
Ida Rolf. It is a process of re-education of the body through
movement and touch. During this process the tensional forces in
the body are methodically realigned to enhance the individuals
relationship to themselves and the forces of gravity.
Unhealthy tension accumulates in the connective tissue or fascia
system of the body, often a result of injury, overuse, illness,
emotional trauma, and everyday stress.
